Bed and Breakfast in Shropshire
A warm and friendly atmosphere greets guests to The Old Forge Bed and Breakfast, Knockin, which offers two twin bedrooms, one groundfloor and one first floor, both with en-suites and a third, double-bedroom/family room, also with its own en-suite. We pride ourselves on our full English breakfast using local produce. There is also a menu available if guests wish to choose something different.
Each room is centrally heated and double glazed with flat-screen TV incorporating built-in Freeview and DVD which can also be used for radio and CDs. Also in each room there is tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits, hairdryer, radio alarm clock, complimentary 25cl red and white wine on arrival; hand and bath towels.
There is a separate sitting room which is very cosy with TV and a log-burning stove.
In the village, part of which is in a conservation area, is a convenience store (The Knockin Shop), post office and church. It is only about 20 yards to the nearest pub which does good food. There are also numerous pubs within a four-mile radius which offer evening meals. There is a Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway and an Indian Takeaway and Restaurant, both about three miles away.
Wireless Internet access is available along with a small library of books.
Access is also available to the patio garden with it's newly restored well.
