Self-catering
In the garden of The Old Forge house stands the beautiful barn with south-facing views which is fully furnished and is let on a self-catering basis. From the afternoon patio you are able to enjoy the use of the built-in barbecue with views of the local farmer's field where sheep, lambs and cattle are often seen. The cows particularly are often found being nosey, looking over the garden fence.
The barn, with its exposed oak beams, is made up of an open plan basis. It includes a beautiful oak kitchen, downstairs w.c., dining area and living area with a flat-screen TV/DVD/Freeview/Radio and wood burner/multi-fuel stove. At the top of the stairs is a small gallery landing leading through to a beautiful bathroom with bath/shower, toilet, heated towel rail and wash-hand basin, adjacent to which is the main bedroom with a king-sized bed with views over the Shropshire countryside.
Off the kitchen is a door which leads into the former pigsty bedroom with its own en-suite. The bedroom is made up with a "zip and link" bed which can be used for either a twin-bedded purpose or joined together to make up a super king-size bed. This room overlooks the farmer's field and has a stunning breakfast patio which takes in the morning sun.
